2A- Bug List

1.  When you call to Alachua County Health Department they leave you on hold for a long time, just to later on tell you to leave a message with your information to get a call back. This bug exists because they don't have enough people to answer the phone because is a public organization and they can't afford to pay for more employees.
2.  When you live with roommates and each person uses different amounts of electricity and everyone gets charged the total amount divided in equal parts. This bug exists because it is easier for housing companies to divide the total amount in equal parts rather than dividing it in percentages.
3.  Books for college classes are way more expensive than any other kind of books and it is hard to find them at a discount or a lower price for used books. This bug exists because of the demand of those books so they increase the prices in order to get a higher number in revenues.
4. As an international student paying for college fees is more expensive than any local and out of state students need to pay. this bug exists because the US government needs to charge international fees because foreign students don't pay annual taxes and part of this goes to the university as grants.
5. People paying for pets at a pet store when they can instead adopt them at shelters and only pay for the adoption fees. This bug exists because people would rather spend the money so they can choose a certain breed of animal but when you adopt, the low cost fees include vaccination and anything that the animal needs.
6.  As a frequent traveler i have noticed that during holidays or when classes end/start the flight ticket prices go up. this bug happens because the airlines get a lot of last calls on tickets, a lot of people fly during those days therefore they need a higher number of workers to accommodate all the people and their flight needs and assistance.
7. If i decide to flight with my pet back home, instead of paying for a fee i basically need to buy an extra seat for my pet and a vet's note saying that my pet is healthy to travel, these expenses end up being higher than my own ticket price. This bug happens because airlines usually increase prices for extra services and accommodation, flights were meant only for people and pets are considered as an extra cargo but with more control.
8. Usually when i go to Walmart, there is a lot of people there and lines get long and i take longer to be on the lines than to do my shopping. This bug happens because they don't have enough people working on the cashier and when it gets crowded the few employees need to deal with all of the purchases there and it doesn't affect the store because most people go there to buy necessities. 
9.  My apartment's temperature gets affected by the outside humidity and it feels really hot and humid during summer. This bug happens because in order to stop this i need to run my AC but i don't want to pay a higher utility bill.
10. I usually never carry cash around because all my payments are done electronically with my credit card, but sometimes i spend more than what i should but it is hard to keep up. This bug happens because i usually get notifications from my bank for every purchases but sometimes it fails to do so.
11. When the date arrive to pays my credit card i usually forget because i use multiple credit cards for different reasons. This bug exists because just as the purchases notifications fail to arrive, the notifications to pay for my credit cards usually arrive a day before during the night or on the same due date and i don't check my phone immediately every time i get a notification.
12. Professors giving way too many papers, sometimes i end up losing them or they get damaged. This bug exists because some professors rather keep it old school instead of using electronic devices.
13. Recently people are more focused on news from fashion or about celebrities rather than worrying about what is happening around the world, such as the incident from the Amazon that happened a few days ago or fires in California that kill hundreds of animals and create pollution . This bug exists because news rather show things that people care about instead of showing what people should know about.
14. When you are on the freeway and you miss an exit you usually need to wait until the next exit to come up. This bug exists because sometimes signs are hard to read and GPS messes up.
15. When i used to go to Santa Fe it was hard to find parking and i would need to be driving around to find a space for a long period of time instead of using that time for something else more productive. This bug exists because there are not enough parking spaces on campus and way too many students drive to the campus, it can be fixed by creating second floors for parking and that way some cars can get some shade during hot days.
16. Spam calls and emails get really annoying everyday, everyday i get more than 5 calls that have nothing to do with me, people offering services that i do not required. This bug exists because telemarketing companies usually use lists of random numbers in the area to call about the product they are selling during their working hours.
17.  Online companies that do not provide phone numbers for their costumer services or if they do they have a machine answering the phone and it is really annoying to deal with them. This bug exists because online companies choose to not pay employees answering the phones and sometimes emails work better for them.
18. Getting a bad schedule can be a big bum because it means that i have to deal with it for the rest of the semester which basically is half a year of my short life. This bug exists because availability of classes get reduced due to the increased amount of students enrolled in classes and few professors teaching those classes.
19. people who smoke cigarettes in crowded areas. This bug exists because some places do not have laws that prevent smokers to do such inconsiderate acts, or simply smokers don't care about the people around them and their health.
20.  As an international student having to go through immigration usually takes longer than expected, it can take from 15 mins to 2 hrs depending on the situation. This bug exists because of precaution or file checking, sometimes they send us to secondary inspection to go through our student history to verify that everything is fine 

Reflection: It was hard to come up with some of these bugs because i usually dont think about it on a daily basis, and explaining the reason why they exist was more challenging because i needed to go in depth in some of them.
